At Shulmu, we are committed to providing a secure, fast, and reliable checkout experience for our customers. We offer a variety of payment methods to ensure you can pay safely and easily from within Australia.

Below you will find information about the payment methods we accept, how your transactions are secured, and general billing policies for orders placed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment options during checkout. To ensure the highest level of security, we only use industry-leading payment processors.

American Express: Select the credit/debit card option at checkout to use your Amex card.

Please note: We do not accept PayPal, bank transfers, or cash on delivery.

2. Currency and Billing

All prices listed on our website are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD), and all transactions will be processed in AUD.

If your credit card or bank account is funded in a different currency, your bank or card issuer may charge you a currency conversion fee. Shulmu has no control over these fees, and they are the sole responsibility of the customer.

3. Payment Security (PCI Compliance & SSL)

Security is our top priority. Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the safest environment for online transactions.

PCI Compliance: Our store is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). This is the highest international standard for securing credit card data.
SSL Encryption: All payment information transmitted during checkout is encrypted using advanced Secure Socket Layer technology (128-Bit SSL Security). You can verify this by looking for the "https" and the closed lock icon in your browser address bar during checkout.
Your Privacy: Shulmu does not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card numbers. Your transaction is processed directly by our secure payment partners. We only see your billing/shipping information and the last 4 digits of your card for identification purposes.

4. Payment Timing and Verification

Immediate Payment: Payment must be completed at the time of purchase. We cannot process or ship orders until payment has been successfully confirmed.
Fraud Prevention: To ensure security, all orders are subject to verification. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.

5. Taxes and GST

All prices displayed on Shulmu are final and include the 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

There are no additional customs duties, import fees, or hidden tariffs charged to our Australian customers upon delivery. The price you see at checkout is exactly what you pay.

6. Payment Issues and Refunds

If your payment is declined, please double-check your card details and billing address. Ensure that the billing address matches the information on file with your bank.

Refunds:
All refunds are issued back to the original payment method used for the purchase, in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy. Please allow up to 7 days for the refund to be processed by our team. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
